Neon offers a convenient way to manage your finances with its mobile account services. Transferring money is seamless, and tracking your income and expenses is made simple with the neon app. The neon Mastercard® allows for fee-free payments worldwide and online.

Neon provides three account options:

• neon free: a standard account with no base fees
• neon green: an eco-friendly account with CO2 offsetting
• neon metal: a premium account with exclusive insurance offerings

To get started with neon, you can open an account in less than 10 minutes using your smartphone. The process is entirely paperless, requiring app download, personal information input, and ID verification through a photo-ID/video call. Account activation takes 2-3 working days, and your neon Mastercard® will arrive by mail within 7 working days.

Once your account is active, you can enjoy various features such as local and international transfers, QR bill scanning, money allocation with Spaces, stock and ETF investments, eBill setup, all without hidden fees. Neon ensures security through personalized login methods and a separate transaction PIN to authorize payments. Accounts are held with Hypothekarbank Lenzburg under Swiss deposit insurance for up to 100’000 CHF.

To qualify for a neon account, you need a permanent address in Switzerland, tax liability exclusively in Switzerland, and Swiss identification documents or relevant residence permits for non-Swiss citizens aged 16 years or older.
